What If I Told You

By ~Blue ~ 2005-09-06

  1. What if I told you – I have something to say?
  2. What if I told you – But was too scared to say?
  3. What if I told you – I wanted to run away?
  4. What if I told you – I want to hide in bed all day?
  5. What if I told you – I was afraid you’d run away?
  6. What if I told you – What would you say?
  7. What if I told you – Would you tell me I’m wrong?
  8. What if I told you – Did you know all along?
  9. What if I told you – Would you understand?
  10. What if I told you – I don’t quite understand?
  11. What if I told you – I really need a friend?
  12. What if I told you – I don’t mean it like that?
  13. What if I told you – I want to tell you?
  14. What if I told you – But I don’t know how to start?
  15. What if I told you – I don’t know anyone else?
  16. What if I told you – There’s no one else like me?
  17. What if I told you – I feel so alone, so out of place?
  18. What if I told you – I can’t stop how I feel?
  19. What if I told you – I’ve tried to stop those feelings?
  20. What if I told you – But nothing works, I still feel that way?
  21. What if I told you – I know they won’t change?
  22. What if I told you – It’s not some kind of phase?
  23. What if I told you – Would you still care about me?
  24. What if I told you – I really need you to care?
  25. What if I told you – I just want someone to understand?
  26. What if I told you – I need some help to figure this out?
  27. What if I told you – I can’t take it all alone?
  28. What if I told you – I don’t know what I’d do?
  29. What if I told you – It hurts too much, to be so adrift?
  30. What if I told you – If you aren’t here for me, I might sink?
  31. What if I told you – If you condemn me, where will I go?
  32. What if I told you – If you turn away, who will be there?
  33. What if I told you – What will I do?
  34. What if I told you – I want to trust you, but I don’t know how?
  35. What if I told you – This is way too big for me?
  36. What if I told you – I’m trying to guess what you think?
  37. What if I told you – I can’t tell what you think?
  38. What if I told you – Though I’ve known you forever, almost?
  39. What if I told you – I can’t read it in your voice, in your face?
  40. What if I – No, please don’t go!
  41. I almost said it.
  42. I almost got the courage.
  43. I almost got the words out.
  44. But you were busy.
  45. And I was nervous.
  46. But you were tired.
  47. And I was sleepless.
  48. But you had something to say.
  49. And I couldn’t say anything.
  50. But you were elsewhere.
  51. And I was right here.
  52. Alone with my thoughts.
  53. Sitting right next to you.
  54. So I didn’t say it, again.
  55. Will I ever say it?
  56. Will you ever hear it?
  57. I AM GAY!
  58. There, I said it! I didn’t think I could.
  59. I am still scared.
  60. What will you say?
  61. I am your son or your daughter.
  62. I am your grandchild.
  63. I am your parent.
  64. I am your spouse.
  65. I am your aunt or uncle.
  66. I am your nephew or niece.
  67. I am your cousin.
  68. I love you so much. Do you still love me?
  69. I am your best friend.
  70. I am your co-worker.
  71. I am your classmate.
  72. I am your next door neighbor.
  73. I am your fellow believer where we worship.
  74. I like you so much. Do you still like me?
  75. I am the teenager.
  76. I am the senior citizen.
  77. I am the ordinary adult.
  78. I am even the kid who doesn’t know it yet.
  79. I am myself.
  80. I will be me, even if you cannot accept me.
  81. I will be better, if you will be here for me.
  82. You will be better, if you will let me.
