What If I Told You
By ~Blue ~ 2005-09-06
- What if I told you – I have something to say?
- What if I told you – But was too scared to say?
- What if I told you – I wanted to run away?
- What if I told you – I want to hide in bed all day?
- What if I told you – I was afraid you’d run away?
- What if I told you – What would you say?
- What if I told you – Would you tell me I’m wrong?
- What if I told you – Did you know all along?
- What if I told you – Would you understand?
- What if I told you – I don’t quite understand?
- What if I told you – I really need a friend?
- What if I told you – I don’t mean it like that?
- What if I told you – I want to tell you?
- What if I told you – But I don’t know how to start?
- What if I told you – I don’t know anyone else?
- What if I told you – There’s no one else like me?
- What if I told you – I feel so alone, so out of place?
- What if I told you – I can’t stop how I feel?
- What if I told you – I’ve tried to stop those feelings?
- What if I told you – But nothing works, I still feel that way?
- What if I told you – I know they won’t change?
- What if I told you – It’s not some kind of phase?
- What if I told you – Would you still care about me?
- What if I told you – I really need you to care?
- What if I told you – I just want someone to understand?
- What if I told you – I need some help to figure this out?
- What if I told you – I can’t take it all alone?
- What if I told you – I don’t know what I’d do?
- What if I told you – It hurts too much, to be so adrift?
- What if I told you – If you aren’t here for me, I might sink?
- What if I told you – If you condemn me, where will I go?
- What if I told you – If you turn away, who will be there?
- What if I told you – What will I do?
- What if I told you – I want to trust you, but I don’t know how?
- What if I told you – This is way too big for me?
- What if I told you – I’m trying to guess what you think?
- What if I told you – I can’t tell what you think?
- What if I told you – Though I’ve known you forever, almost?
- What if I told you – I can’t read it in your voice, in your face?
- What if I – No, please don’t go!
- I almost said it.
- I almost got the courage.
- I almost got the words out.
- But you were busy.
- And I was nervous.
- But you were tired.
- And I was sleepless.
- But you had something to say.
- And I couldn’t say anything.
- But you were elsewhere.
- And I was right here.
- Alone with my thoughts.
- Sitting right next to you.
- So I didn’t say it, again.
- Will I ever say it?
- Will you ever hear it?
- I AM GAY!
- There, I said it! I didn’t think I could.
- I am still scared.
- What will you say?
- I am your son or your daughter.
- I am your grandchild.
- I am your parent.
- I am your spouse.
- I am your aunt or uncle.
- I am your nephew or niece.
- I am your cousin.
- I love you so much. Do you still love me?
- I am your best friend.
- I am your co-worker.
- I am your classmate.
- I am your next door neighbor.
- I am your fellow believer where we worship.
- I like you so much. Do you still like me?
- I am the teenager.
- I am the senior citizen.
- I am the ordinary adult.
- I am even the kid who doesn’t know it yet.
- I am myself.
- I will be me, even if you cannot accept me.
- I will be better, if you will be here for me.
- You will be better, if you will let me.
