For my friend and blood-brother
You are never junk, bud

  2. I thought I knew a lot about friendship
  3. Though I’ve had few best friends
  4. Lately I’ve learned
  5. There’s a whole new world
  6. Coming out there
  8. True Friendship –
  9. Cares how you feel
  10. Understands your flaws
  11. Praises your strengths
  12. Mentions not when they are the same
  13. Trusts when you feel untrustworthy
  14. Respects your boundaries
  15. Restores faith when you doubt
  16. Rejoices when you find faith again
  17. Gives you hope when all seems lost
  18. Gives thanks when your hope’s restored
  19. Loves unconditionally
  20. Stands content beside your loved ones
  21. Glad to share you with them
  22. Without need to monopolize
  23. Secure that you’ll be there
  24. Rests with you when you are weary
  25. Races giddy when you zoom along
  26. Lifts you up when you stumble
  27. Guides you when you need advice
  28. Carries you when you cannot
  29. Lets you carry and take control
  30. Insists you can be more
  31. Desists when you are not perfect
  32. Wipes away all tears
  33. Laughs with you
  34. Finds wit in your humor
  35. Soothes sorrows
  36. Stirs to moving
  37. Calms fears
  38. Brings safety
  39. Defends naïveté
  40. Battles cynicism
  41. Cleans up when you are ill
  42. Dignifies your indignity
  43. Heals what is broken
  44. Smoothes the rough places
  45. Accepts what you can’t let go
  46. Knows your core is never harmed
  47. Just sits with you to be there
  48. Holds you when you cry
  49. Hugs you for no particular reason
  50. Connects a wavelength in common
  51. Knows your spark is still there
  52. Hangs out with you
  53. Dances on wheels with you
  54. Awestruck by your dreams
  55. Sends angels to tend you
  56. Wrestles God or demons to guard you
  57. Celebrates your uniqueness
  58. Finds access for your ability
  59. Refuses to diss your dis-
  60. Because you like your friends’
  61. Appreciates you’re just you
  62. However you are
  63. Argues for you, even with you
  64. Until a problem’s resolved
  65. Believes without need of proof
  66. Handles confidences with grace
  67. Talents inside, you try to deny
  68. Strength within, you won’t admit
  69. From your counsel, gains healing
  70. Glimpses the Creator in your spirit
  71. Gifts you a bit of soul to fuel your own
  73. True Friendship –
  74. Spans more than what is tangible
  75. Traverses time and space
  76. Connects each to one another
  77. Dances holy Creation whole
  78. Beloved friend, enjoined
  79. In tribe and family, included, blood or not
  80. I adopt you, friend, blood-brother, family
