Messenger

    1. I missed you today
    2. I wanted to say hello
    3. Then I remembered
    4. You’re no longer here

    1. I wanted to share things
    2. Like we did before
    3. More than one or two
    4. Our whole joined family

    1. I can still talk to you
    2. Can you talk to me
    3. When where you’ve gone
    4. I don’t know how to reach
  4.  
    1. That otherworld beyond this
    2. That golden street address
    3. How can we reconnect
    4. How does it all work
  5.  
    1. — But Wait —
  6.  
    1. There’s still something there
    2. Though too much to comprehend
    3. I find you in little things
    4. I meet from day to day
  7.  
    1. Somehow the message gets through
    2. Among our loved ones too
    3. You are still talking in a way
    4. I don’t yet understand
  8.  
    1. I simply don’t have the skill yet
    2. To translate our/your message
    3. The eyes or ears or subtle gentle senses
    4. For I feel smaller and your message is now larger
  9.  
    1. It takes more of us now
    2. To share this complex message
    3. Yet it’s so simple we/you wanted to say
    4. Love speaks through forever

    1. Now I hope I remember
    2. Not to miss you today
    3. You’re already saying hello
    4. In everyone we meet

    1. Someday maybe
    2. I’ll meet someone you sent
    3. Some friend or love in need
    4. Of someone you love too

    1. Then there you’ll be again
    2. We’ll talk like old friends
    3. The message will get through
    4. In some way we’ll understand

    1. Until at last one day we’ll wake
    2. To find us with you again
    3. At last to say hello again
    4. And never to be missed

    1. For loved ones who couldn’t be here
    2. Because they were needed
    3. Otherworld messengers
    4. Between us for future people

    2. I wanted to talk to you
    3. But you found a way
    4. I could listen and understand

    1. Love is the message
    2. We are all the messenger
    3. The connection is still there
    4. Unending invisible intangible

    1. Between you and me and all of us
    2. Your message translates every moment
    3. We just didn’t understand yet
    4. You are still with us

    1. Not apart but a part of us
    2. Shared whenever we listen
    3. For that quiet inner message
    4. Love is forever never missing
